Calypso started doing hair as an apprentice in Northern Virginia in 2017. Since then, she has worked at lavish salons in NOVA. Recently she bought a house in Winchester for her three adorable dogs. She is hoping to build and be a part of the community.

Emma is a licensed esthetician and soon to be a Master Esthetician. She is expected to graduate late fall 2025. She loves analyzing skin conditions and recommending treatments for clients. She is also very detail oriented and focused on giving relaxing yet effective treatments. When she is not working, she is hanging out with her sister.
Brow Expert

Cj is our Brow Specialist. She’s been specializing in all thing's brows for over five years. When she isn’t fixing brows she’s playing with her puppy Miley, forcing her husband to play Yugioh, or has her nose in a book. She is also the 2025
winner of Best Permanent Makeup artist in Winchester.

trained and certified. She has taken
additional trainings in Florda and California.
She was the proud winner of
a Lash Con ticket where her talent, drive and determination to be noticed won her a ticket to the show. If we can pry her from the lash table, she is very talented with upstyles.

Beth has been behind the chair since 2010. She is a lover of vivid colors, brunettes balayage, but especially precision cutting. Anything asymmetrical, clipper, pixie, alternative she is your girl. She is recently back in WVA with her wife, four kids and four fur babies.
She is also incredible at bridal looks. Like seriously she is an icon.

Ali is a graduate from the Temple a Paul Mitchell Partner School. She is one of the most talented makeup artists we have ever met. She specializes in all sorts of glam looks. When she isn't slaying faces, she does beautiful livid in looks.
Cheri A.

​Cheri is a licensed massage therapist and insured with American Massage and bodywork Association with 14 years hands-on experience in therapeutic massage, her techniques are incorporated into every session. Her specialties include Swedish, myofascial, deep-tissue, hot stone, sports and lymphatic techniques can be used in every session. Her understanding of the body as a whole and working with the bodies energy systems is intuitive as she moves through the muscles holding pressure on trigger points and releasing tension. Each session can be unique and adaptable, depending on the work the client is after.

Branden Lee Miller started his career in 2001 after graduating from Empire Beauty School. He has worked in salons in Washington DC, Baltimore, York Pa, and Wilkes Barre Pa as well as was an Educator for Graham Webb and Hair Cuttery. He has won awards for his Special occasion updos. His specialties are livid in color and volume. This year he has gotten engaged, bought a house and moved to Winchester.

Nick is a recent graduate of The Temple a Paul Mitchell Partner School. Before wanting to pursue a career in cosmetology he was a music teacher. Nick still works at The Apollo Civic Theatre working with kids. He also helps organizing a haunt theatre. When you're in his chair, you are working with your own private hype man. Nick loves dimensional colors and textured looks.
Cameron E.
Salon Plumber/Trophy Husband
Most salons wouldn't put their plumber on their website. We are however not like most salons. Cameron is always available to clean our pipes, fold some towels, take out the trash etc. He is also Steph's much younger Trophy Husband. Without his love and support, she couldn't manage this incredible salon. He never complains about Steph's never-ending ideas and projects. So, we felt he deserved a special shout out.

Ed has over 25 years' experience in the industry. He first bought Class Act Hair Designs in 2000. In 2007 he revamped the business and formed Ed’s Heads. Now he is ready for a new chapter and is very excited to be joining Coven. Ed offers dimensional color techniques and precision cutting skills to craft hairstyles that fit each client’s lifestyle and personality. A self-admitted fashion junky with a penchant for preppy vibes, Ed likes putting a fresh spin on the classics to keep your look fresh.

Addie joined Coven in the summer of 2025. Just a simple internship sparked a desire to join the industry. Always having an interest in beauty and now surrounded with inspiring people she decided to pursue an apprenticeship at Coven Salon.
